COVID-19 Guidelines for Guests: Updated February 2022
In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic we are making some changes which I thought I would highlight to you before your check-in. These measures are for the safety of our guests, ourselves and our staff. Please take note of this important information and we appreciate your cooperation.

Please be assured that the safety of our guests is of utmost importance, therefore we have devised a special cleaning protocol in order to make sure any viruses and bacteria, including COVID-19 are kept at bay.
Before your check-in cleaning staff will thoroughly clean and then sanitise the apartment. This includes sanitising all high-touch surfaces – doors, handles, lights switches, chairs, cupboard doors and other hard surfaces. Soft furnishings will be sanitised and cleaning staff will be wearing gloves to prevent cross-contamination. There will be a cleaning checklist which will be signed after each check out to ensure this has taken place, this will be displayed in the entrance porch.

There is a self-check in process, the keysafe code will be sent to you a week before your check-in date. If you need to contact us during your stay please phone me in the first instance to maintain social distancing. I live in the main house (separate entrance) and will be available most of the time. Upon entering the apartment please either wash your hands using handsoap or use the hand sanitiser which will be provided. Please note that that the check-in time is 1600.

If any guest becomes unwell with suspected COVID-19 during your stay you must notify us immediately - there will be separate guidance available in the apartment in the event of an emergency. There will be disposable gloves, cleaning products, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, laundry detergent, hand soap and hand sanitiser available to all guests during their stay.
Since February 2022 we have reintroduced our welcome pack which includes a variety of tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets. You are advised to bring your own groceries to the apartment. Please ensure you stop off on the way either in Broadford or Portree where there is a large Coop supermarket or Uig where there is a local supermarket called Rankins. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, grill, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, crockery etc.
When leaving the apartment for the day, please do not take the key with you, instead please keep it in the keysafe to prevent accidentally losing it. Guests will be charged a fee for replacement keys.

Before you leave please help us by doing the following things:
-Open bedroom and kitchen windows (unless it is raining).
-Place all bed linen (duvet cover, sheet and pillow cases NOT mattress and pillow protectors) and used towels in the bags provided in each bedroom.
-Please take out all bagged rubbish and place it in the GREEN bin outside.
-Please take out PLASTIC/PAPER/CARDBOARD/TIN recycling into the BLUE bin outside.
-Please leave any GLASS BOTTLES in the recycling bag provided in the kitchen.
-Please take any unused food items with you.
-Please lock the door and place the key back in the keysafe.
Thank you so much for reading this (a copy will be available in the apartment) and helping to keep La Maison de Campagne safe for all guests!
